Local Love didn't start with a business plan. It started with two women deeply passionate about the wedding industry, wildly supportive of each other's businesses, and convinced that Milwaukee brides deserved something better — and that Wisconsin's most beautiful event spaces deserved to be seen.
When Alexandria (AURA) and Mackenzie (MILK Events) got together, it just made sense. They saw a gap in the Milwaukee wedding world — a space for an intimate, boutique bridal experience that actually felt personal. Not overwhelming, not corporate — just local vendors who care, in a beautiful room, surrounded by brides ready to plan the wedding of their dreams.
Part of what makes Local Love so special is that we don't stay in one place. Each event is hosted at a different Wisconsin venue, because we believe couples deserve to experience these spaces firsthand before their big day. We're bringing the wedding community to the venue, so you can fall in love with your backdrop before you even book it.

Event Elevator 'Amplify the Aura at your next event' — that's been Alexandria's motto since she launched AURA MKE in 2024, an event elevating and catering company built on the belief that every event deserves to feel elevated, intentional, and beautiful. From lush grazing tables to bloom bars to permanent jewelry pop-ups, AURA is all about creating experiences people don't just attend — they feel. It's the same eye for detail and love of a good 'wow' moment that Alexandria brings to every Local Love pop-up.

Mackenzie is the heart and creator behind MILK Events, a wedding coordination business built on genuinely loving love. She's spent her career guiding couples through one of the biggest days of their lives with warmth, expertise, and an eye for every last detail — the kind of coordinator who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks, so you can just be present in the moment.
